Lettuce
Someone taught me recently how to get the stalk out of a lettuce. For years I have hacked away at it with a knife.
My friend explained to me that if you just whack the stalk of the lettuce on a table quite hard, the stalk will seperate from the remainder of the lettuce. So simple yet so effective. If you have never done this - try it! |
