The Board Game "Risk"
I have just played the board game "Risk" for the first time in years.
If you have not played it, in my view, it is the best board game that has ever been made.
The only real flaw is that whoever starts does appear to me to have a serious advantage.
The basic idea of the game is to conquer the World, which you do by defeating your opponents in battle. This is done by using dice. Your first aim is to capture one of the six continents. As always, you start by trying to get one of the samller Southern continents. If you try and grab Asia, you are going to get seriously pummelled.
If you have never played this game, go to the Toy Store now and buy a set. Put the Monopoly away. |
