the highest mountain

Most people believe that Mount Everest in the Himalayas is the highest mountain on planet earth. It is not. The highest mountain in the world is Mauna Kea (or White Mountain)in Hawaii. However most of Mauna Kea is underwater but in total it is about 4000 feet higher than Everest.
